These drawings are pure charcoal on Saunders Waterford paper. They are all done from life. As modelling is very strenuous, a session will not last for more than a couple of hours at a time. In that time about 3 to 4 drawings will be produced, of which only 1 or 2 of these being acceptable to keep.
